Static Mechanical Supervisor – £48,000 – Knightsbridge, London
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8am to 5pm
Salary: £48,000 + Great Package
One of London’s leading building services maintenance providers is currently seeking a permanent Hands-on Mechanical Supervisor to manage a prestigious site based in Knightsbridge, London.
This role is perfect for a candidate who does not have too much experience as a supervisor and wants to develop their skills and progress. The successful candidate will look after the day-to-day engineering as well as managing all sub contractors. The ideal candidate will come from a client facing commercial environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to be fast tracked to become a Contract Manager within 12 months.
The purpose of this position:
- Run a team responding to any breakdown failure and the planned preventative maintenance
- Ensure all critical plant is maintained
- Manage PPM schedule
- Organise subcontract labour
- Organise labour and the procurement of materials and parts
- Responsible for Health & Safety, risk assessment, permits etc
- Technical back up for the team
- Attend client meetings and carry out reports
Applicants for the role must be able to meet the following criteria:
- Fully electrically or mechanically qualified to recognised level
- Happy to work in a “hands on” capacity as and when needed
- Able to write report and carry out quotes
- Previous experience of supervising staff and sub contractors
- Be smart and presentable
- Be able to demonstrate good people skills.
- Fully qualified Mechanically
