Static Mechanical & Electrical Engineer – £40,000 – Southall

My Client, is an organisation dedicated to providing a 6 star quality private concierge service to exclusive VIP Clients, across the areas of property maintenance. Based in London but providing services the length and breadth of the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operation & maintenance of H&V plant, including pumps etc.
  • Operation & maintenance of swimming pool & Jacuzzi systems.
  • Responding to breakdowns.
  • Undertaking scheduled maintenance.
  • Fault finding, diagnosis & carrying out repair or replacement of equipment.
  • Managing stock & supplies of equipment.
  • Technical support to colleagues & assisting others.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for colleagues.
  • Ensure a professional approach is always delivered with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.
  • Liaise regularly with managers, supervisors & colleagues to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered to the client at all times.
  • Provide a highly customer focused service to the company and client at all times.
  • Provide cover for colleagues during periods of absence.
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, particularly regarding health and safety.
  • Seasonal shift & on call rota.
  • Any other duties as and when required.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities  

  • To be fully qualified & an experience mechanical engineer/Electrical engineer
  • NVQ level 2 or above in plumbing & heating
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical installations
  • 18th Edition
  • BEng or level 2 diploma particularly in mechanical, production or electrical engineering.
  • Level 2 diploma in H&V
  • Experience in building or facilities maintenance
  • The relevant technical knowledge.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Good verbal & written communication skills.

Package

  • Overtime at time and a half after 40 hours
  • Minimum 40 hours a week
  • Monday to Friday
  • 00am – 4.00pm
  • Long hours and weekends required during busy periods/client visits
  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays
