Project Delivery Manager – South East London – £60k

CTR Construction is recruiting for a Project Delivery Manager to join  a contractor operating within enabling works nationwide.

This is a unique oversight role focused on operational efficiency, cost control, and compliance across multiple live sites.

About the role:
You’ll be travelling nationally (typically staying away one night per week) visiting active sites to ensure:

  • Labour and plant levels are appropriate and cost-efficient
  • Operatives and machinery are not over-allocated
  • RAMS are up to date and being implemented correctly
  • Projects are running efficiently and compliantly

This role is less about day-to-day site management and more about strategic operational oversight, reporting directly to the Owner of the business.

Location: Head office – South East London (national travel required)

Salary: Up to £60,000
Package: Company car
Travel: Nationwide – typically 1 night away per week

Requirements:

  • Background in demolition, remediation, enabling, or similar sectors would be beneficial
  • Must be comfortable with national travel
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Confident reviewing site operations and compliance documentation
  • Commercially aware — able to identify inefficiencies and reduce waste
  • Professional and authoritative approach on site

Ideal profile:
The client would prefer someone experienced — someone who has “been around the block” and can confidently walk onto sites, assess operations quickly, and command respect from teams.
