Mobile HIU Engineer – £50,000 – London
Location: London
Salary: £50,000 + Van & Fuel Card
My client is a fast-growing innovative business which designs, builds, operates, maintains, and finances low carbon district energy networks and building energy systems for communities. We work with local authorities, developers, house builders and property owners to reduce costs, energy consumption and carbon emissions through innovative design and proactive intelligence led system operations and optimisation.
Responsibilities:
- To work on low pressure/ low temperature (up to 80˚C) installations in client properties
- To service and repair HIU installations
- Commissioning of HIUs
- To repair pipework and work on associated fixtures and fittings
- To carry out repairs in plant rooms
- To carry out minor electrical repairs
- To deliver excellent customer service
- Attend callouts when required
- Work with asset management system
- To work on weekend on-call rota (usually 1 weekend in 4/5)
Ideally, the Heating Engineer will be a time-served engineer and they must hold over 5 years of industry experience to be considered.
You will hold a minimum of NVQ / C&G L2 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
You will not require domestic/commercial gas tickets but holding them would certainly be advantageous and put you at the higher end of the salary scale.
There are opportunities for progression and development within the engineering team. My client is operating a large number of energy centres and plant, so the need for engineers is constant.
