Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer / £42,000 / London
We are seeking a candidate to join our mobile engineering team of professionals working together to grow and deliver a service that can be trusted and relied upon, time and time again.
The successful candidate will represent our company in a professional manner at all times, have a flexible work approach, be open to learning new skills and take pride in all their work. The candidate must have a clean driving license and excellent written and spoken English communication.
The sites you’ll become jointly responsible for will predominately span across Central London and the West End. Our contracted sites range from commercial office spaces, retail units, residential blocks, large high end residential properties to grade II listed heritage sites in the heart of the city. We offer our customers a perfect environment to work and live in, and to do so ensure our team are prepared with best practice and engineering excellence at the forefront of everything we do, putting a key focus on robust maintenance reporting methods and first time fault diagnosis.
You will be required to have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems and have a broad capability maintaining assets and diagnosing issues with building services.
Our work is divided into Planned, Reactive and Quoted works. Your day to day role will include but not be limited to:
- Building Services Maintenance (PPM tasks – HVAC servicing, emergency light testing, tap temps etc)
- Mechanical & Electrical fault diagnosis & repairs
- Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning fault diagnosis & repairs
- Minor works installations
- Day-time call outs to reactive jobs
You will be required to have obtained a minimum of one of the following Industry qualifications:
Building Services Engineering Qualification
Level 3 Electrical Qualification
Level 2/3 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Qualification with F-Gas
Level 2 Plumbing Qualification
The successful candidate will be required to work an 8-hour day from Monday to Friday, with typical start times on site ranging between 7am and 8am. We operate a call out rota and you will be expected to cover 1 week out of every 4-6 weeks for an additional £100 for the availability. Overtime associated to call-outs is paid at a x1.5 rate door to door.
Package:
– Current salaries ranging from £38,000 to £42,000 per annum dependent upon skills and experience
– 1 week call out cover per month at £100 per week for standby and 1.5x rate door to door for attendances
