CTR Construction are looking for a Junior Estimator for a Building Contractor based in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex.

Job Title: Junior Estimator
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000
The Role
Our client is looking for a Junior Estimator to assist their head of Estimating, working on a range of packages covering Residential, Commercial, Education and Healthcare. Projects ranging anywhere from £500k to £4 million in value.
Some of the responsibilities will include, and not be limited to:
– Compiling bids for work
– Calculating the cost of materials transport, labour and equipment hire
– Collating detailed price lists of everything needed on each construction project
– Clarifying the client’s needs and expectations
– Presenting bids to clients and answering their questions
– Preparing and submitting quotations for work
About You
Due to the location of the role, you must be ideally situated in Essex. Ideally you will have 1 to 2+ years post qualification experience. They are looking for someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic about Estimating and has a strong and stable CV (not a job hopper!).
