CTR Construction is recruiting for a Buyer with around 2–3 years’ experience to join a leading flooring contractor working on major projects across London and the South East.
This is a great opportunity to join a strong procurement team working on large, high-profile commercial schemes, including flagship developments and major corporate fit-outs.
About the role:
You’ll support the procurement function with daily buying and administrative duties, working within a tight-knit team of three. The role is heavily administrative, requiring strong organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail.

️ Projects: Large-scale commercial flooring projects
Salary: £35,000+ (depending on experience)
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Team: Procurement Director + 1 Buyer
Systems: Sage
Day-to-day duties:

Processing requisitions
-
Ordering materials and ensuring deliveries arrive on time

Tracking plant and equipment
-
Handling invoice disputes
-
General procurement admin & coordination
-
Light negotiation (mostly set pricing)

No take-offs required
Requirements:

2–3 years’ experience in a buying/procurement role

Flooring experience preferred but not essential

Highly organised and comfortable in a process-driven role

Strong admin skills — this role is more organisational than negotiation-focused

Confident communicating with suppliers and internal teams

Able to commute daily to the company’s head office in Essex
