CTR Construction are looking for a Buyer for a Civil Engineering Contractor based in Kent.

The Role
Our client is looking for a Buyer to assist Directors and Commercial Management on projects all across Kent. They are looking for more than an ‘Admin Buyer’ and would require you to get involved in the business in other ways. You would be part of a tight knit group who all have the same focus to drive the business forward.
This is a full time office based role supporting the team with the negotiation and purchasing of materials for sites across the South East. You will be expected to;
- Work out ways in which the business can reduce spend and achieve cost savings
- Order materials from takeoffs using project drawings and plans
- Meet with suppliers and clients
- Negotiate to ensure most competitive price always achieved
- Budget management
- Build relationships with the site teams

About You
Due to the location of the role, you must be located in Kent and hold a valid driving license. Ideally you will have 5+ years experience within Construction.
They are looking for someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic about Buying, has great organisation and negotiation skills and has a strong and stable CV.
