CTR Construction is recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a highly respected heritage restoration contractor working on some of the most prestigious historic buildings across Central London.
This is a genuinely hands-on role, ideal for someone who wants more than a desk-based surveying position and is looking to build a long-term career within a specialist heritage contractor.
About the role:
You’ll split your time roughly 50/50 between the office and site, carrying out measurements, supporting live projects, and learning the specialist heritage side of the work. While 3–5 years’ experience is ideal, the client is open to candidates with slightly less experience who have a solid grounding and the right attitude.
This is not a stop-gap role — the team is very stable, with many staff having been with the business for years. They are looking for someone with drive, commitment, and long-term ambition.

Requirements:

Ideally 3–5 years’ Quantity Surveying experience (less considered with the right base knowledge)

Keen to learn heritage restoration and specialist construction methods

Comfortable working on site — taking measurements, being on scaffolds, and getting hands-on

Strong work ethic and desire to build a long-term career

Ideally BSc or MSc qualified (or working towards)
