CTR Construction is recruiting for an Assistant Buyer / Buyer to join a well-established groundworks and civil engineering contractor based in Southampton. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing company working on a range of residential infrastructure and housebuilding projects across the South.
About the role:
You’ll be responsible for procuring plant, materials, drainage, and tools across multiple live projects. The company is currently implementing a new Procuro buying system, so this is an exciting time to join and help streamline procurement operations.

Salary: £30,000 – £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Package: Senior level includes phone, healthcare, and more

Hours: 7:30am–4:30pm or 8:00am–5:00pm (45-hour week)
Requirements:

Experience purchasing for groundworks / civils / residential infrastructure

Good knowledge of plant, materials, and drainage procurement

Confident using Excel and ideally experience with Procuro or similar software

Capable of handling take-offs and working within a busy commercial team
-
Reliable, organised, and proactive approach
